Duluth gets the Assault treatment from STX.
We’ve teased STX in the past for not offering more custom zones on their gloves. However, that was changed this year with the Shadow line, although Duluth didn’t go that route. And, we don’t give them enough credit for putting logos on arm protection.
The Bulldogs tend to mix in a lot of grey because of their school’s version of maroon/cardinal is tough to replicate. They probably want to differentiate themselves from the Gophers as well.
Assistant coach Casey Mithun on their decision to stick with the Assault line:
We choose to go with the Assault line again for a couple reasons. Mainly, we have been injury free. They look great, we haven’t had any malfunctions like we have with gear lines in the past, and our players like wearing them. We didn’t feel the need to go to something new until we have a reason. Goes right into the saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
Equipment ordered through Lavin Lacrosse.
